Video editing is the process of manipulating and rearranging video shots to create a new work. It involves cutting, splicing, and sequencing video and audio clips, as well as adjusting color, lighting, sound, and other visual effects to enhance the overall quality and coherence of the final product. Video editing is used in a variety of contexts, including film, television, commercial advertising, and social media. It is typically done using specialized software, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer.
You will learn how to prepare video assets for editing by accessing a folder and downloading stock footage using a program called Internet Download Manager. You will learn to use keywords to search for footage and that you should have at least two or three videos and png pictures for each scene. We have a system for organizing scenes that should be named and are labeled as chapters. We also use Google to search for images that represent the scene.
